Job Summary

Spend your summer where Alaska comes alive. 49th State Brewing in Anchorage is hiring Seasonal Servers to join our high-energy, high-volume team during our busiest and most exciting season.

This role is ideal for experienced servers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love delivering memorable guest experiences. From first-time visitors to loyal locals, our servers are ambassadors of our Alaska-first brand, guiding guests through our craft beer lineup and scratch-made menu. Servers typically handle $1,000–$2,000+ in daily sales, making this a dynamic and rewarding seasonal opportunity.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous serving experience required (high-volume experience strongly preferred)

• Passion for hospitality, craft beer, and Alaska-made products

• Strong communication and multitasking skills

• Ability to stay positive, efficient, and professional under pressure

• Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Available to start by March 1 and work through at least September

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, authentic welcome that reflects the 49th State Brewing brand

• Guide guests through our menu, beer list, and Alaska-inspired offerings

• Accurately take and process orders in a high-volume environment

• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining quality and presentation

• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns quickly and professionally

• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area

• Collaborate closely with fellow servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff

• Contribute to a fun, energetic, and guest-focused summer atmosphere
