Job Summary:
tAKo Alaska Cantina is seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH Supervisor/Bartender to join our team at our newest concept in Denali. This dual-role position is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and can deliver top-tier guest experiences while supporting the daily operations of the front-of-house team.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional bar service, including crafting cocktails, pouring beer, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bussers
Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service and enforcing service standards
Assist with opening/closing duties, cash handling, and end-of-day reporting
Manage floor presence to ensure smooth service flow and address guest concerns promptly
Help train and onboard new FOH staff
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members
Requirements:
Previous experience as a bartender required; supervisory experience strongly preferred
Must be 21+ and hold a valid alcohol service certification (or be willing to obtain one)
Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
Must be reliable, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a seasonal, high-volume setting
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
