Job Summary:
tAKo Alaska Cantina is seeking a dynamic and experienced FOH Supervisor/Bartender to join our team at our newest concept in Denali. This dual-role position is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and can deliver top-tier guest experiences while supporting the daily operations of the front-of-house team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional bar service, including crafting cocktails, pouring beer, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area

• Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bussers

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service and enforcing service standards

• Assist with opening/closing duties, cash handling, and end-of-day reporting

• Manage floor presence to ensure smooth service flow and address guest concerns promptly

• Help train and onboard new FOH staff

• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender required; supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Must be 21+ and hold a valid alcohol service certification (or be willing to obtain one)

• Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills

• Must be reliable, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a seasonal, high-volume setting

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
