Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Brewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brewing, a deep passion for craft beer, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:

Brewing Operations:
- Oversee and execute all aspects of the brewing process from start to finish, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, and packaging.
- Ensure all beers are brewed according to recipes and specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of brewing activities, including brew logs, inventory management, and quality control data.

Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality control checks throughout the brewing process to ensure consistency and quality of all products.
- Monitor and adjust fermentation conditions as needed.
- Perform sensory evaluations and lab testing of beer to ensure it meets the company's standards.

Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and clean all brewing equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

Recipe Development:
- Collaborate with the brewing team to develop new beer recipes and improve existing ones.
- Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into the brewing process.

Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to brewing and safety.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address any issues promptly.

Inventory Management:
- Manage raw material inventory, including ordering and receiving ingredients.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all brewing materials.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and cost.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Brewer or Assistant Brewer.
- Strong understanding of the brewing process, ingredients, and equipment.
- Knowledge of quality control and safety standards in brewing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve brewing equipment issues.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Formal brewing education or certification is a plus.
