The Role: Bartender

As the face of our new pub, you'll be more than just a bartender—you'll be a storyteller, a guide, and a master of your craft. You will deliver legendary hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest and helping them explore our unique offerings.

What You’ll Be Pouring & Serving:

• World-Class Brews: You'll become an expert on our diverse beer list, from year-round favorites like the citrusy Solstice IPA and classic 8 Star Lager to specialty brews like our award-winning SMOK smoked lager.
• Innovative Comfort Food: You'll guide guests through our unique menu, which features creative takes on pub fare. Highlight our legendary Bavarian Pretzel with Blonde Eagle Ale beer cheese, our hearty Fire-Forged Meatballs, and our signature Roman-style flatbreads called pinsa, topped with everything from our unique Smokestack smoked prime rib to the vegan Saigon Steel.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional customer experience with your outstanding service and friendly demeanor.
• Master drink preparation, including cocktails, shots, and our full beer and wine list.
• Process orders and payments accurately using our Toast POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar, performing routine setup and cleanup tasks.
• Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth service and a great atmosphere.

Are You the Right Fit?

We're looking for someone who is not just a team player but a leader in the making.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer-based POS systems (Micros experience is preferred).
• Solid working knowledge of classic cocktail preparation, beer, and wine.
• Must be over 21 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Hold a current TAPs card and an Anchorage Food Handler card.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work any shift as needed.
• A passion for beer and a desire to learn the details of our entire lineup.
